I wrote it for a beautiful young lady who doesn’t realize how much she deserves.I’ll rearange the memories in my frontal lobe to make it seem that I went easier on you. It’s hard to remember anything with all the bottles we’ve put to our lips. Just the smell of cigarettes hard to forget on my finger tips, your pretty face against mine.
I never heard a sad song with no regrets, so don’t get me wrong i’m still glad we met. A space cadet on the outside, it felt so good to be your only guy if only for one night.
until they came around, and set flame to our self created town, tore it apart and left just my heart.
